Overview
If you’re managing lots of files in DoorLoop, File Tags (also called File Categories) can help you stay organized. Tagging files makes it easier to sort, search, and keep everything in order—especially when working with multiple documents tied to the same record.
The Steps
Create New File Tags
To add new file tags, click Settings from the main menu and then click File Tags under the Related Lists section.
Click on + Add Line Item link and type in a Tag Name for your new Note Tags.
When you are finished, click on the green checkmark to save it.
You can add more File Tags by clicking on the + Add Line Item link again.
Once you have created your desired file tag, click the X icon in the upper right corner of the File Tags window to exit these settings.
Edit a File Tag
To edit a file tag, click on the pencil and pad icon to the right of the Tag Name. Update the name and click on the green checkmark to save it.
Once you have edited your desired file tag, click the X icon in the upper right corner of the File Tags window to exit these settings.
Delete a File Tag
To delete a file tag, simply click on the red trash can icon on the right side of the line and then click it again to confirm.
Once you have deleted your file tag, click the X icon in the upper right corner of the File Tags window to exit these settings.
Apply a File Tag to a File
Adding a file tag to a file is as easy as selecting the tag while uploading the file. There is a "Select Tag" field where you can select already created tags or, if needed, create a new tag. Tags help you categorize your files for easier searching in the future.
With File Tags in place, finding what you need is faster and managing files becomes a whole lot easier—no digging required.
